Got Stuck Again

got stuck this morning on a scrambled egg. Wasn't as bad as the chicken but bad enough. I have 4.5cc's in my band and I guess I didn't chew it well. Just learning to chew is a new thing huh? I'm 6 wks post op. Tried the papaya pills, helped a little but still had the spitting up episode. I don't think I will eat eggs for awhile.

Some people add milk or water to 'fluff' up their scrambled eggs. I think that causes problems for bandsters. If you have eggs I'd recommend NOT adding any kind of liquid to them when you scramble t

Donna - sorry about the sticking episode. They can be rough. I never had luck with the papaya pills or hot liquid - I usually just loose what I ate, relax and wait for it to pass. Don't give up egg

I am lookin into my surgery and I was wondering what u guys ment. By stuck?

well I'm no expert on the subject but to answer your question when you have restriction in your band or eat too big of a bite or don't chew your food really well the food cannot pass thru the hole/band that is around your smaller stomach that was created for you and pass thru to the lower stomach eventually and therefore gets stuck in there and it is painful and is very or can be gross and you may eventually throw it up like I do. I tend to salivate alot, spit up frothy mess and slimy mess then eventually throw up. go to lapband.com it may explain it better there or google it or look on youtube, just a thought. You might coulld get a visual of how food gets stuck. Hope this helps.
