Did you take a STD for the lapband procedure?

What are your views on it?

I took a week vacation but I could've gone back to work after day 3. I have a desk job.

I just took 3 days of personal time. Everyone heals differently, but I went back to work even though I was still in a bit of discomfort.

You just need a few days off a week at the most. I mean if you are not doing hard physical labor, loading trucks or something.I think it's easier if you arre busy and not sitting home thinking about all the food you can't eat.. Everyone is different but most folks are back to feeling good after a week 10 days.

I have an office job but plan on taking atleast one week short term unless I can get away with two. Figured I don't want to be at work miserable since I have alot of people are in and out of my office all day. It's for the companys best interest

Well in MA you have to be off 5 days before you can be put on STD. I had surgery late on Thursday, was out Fri, Sat/Sun, Mon-Fri, Sat/Sun.
