Peppermint tea seemed to allways work or regular hot tea.

Thank you for the insight :-). This is not the feeling of "stuck" right???

I wouldn't say this is a stuck feeling; that is more in the chest. Did your doctor put any fill in during surgery? Usually when someone is having trouble with liquids it's because the band has a fill and their body is still swollen from surgery. I would call and ask.

No fill yet, but I did have mashed potatoes as ok on mushy diet. Today feel the same feeling after drinking a Protein shake. So stopped and called md and they said if hot Soup or tea doesn't take it away I will have too go in. What is this??? It last all day.....
