First Week Post-Op Major Pains

Surgery was 6-28-12 and i had lapband and a hiatal hernia fixed. I have had almost unbearable pain in my chest, throat, jaw, and even head. Went to dr today and she said all looked ok. She said pain maybe from the scope/tube. The pressure is one ive never experienced and no matter the meds, there is little relief. Any suggestions? I'm taking pain meds as much as i can.

    It had to be, process of eliminations, that was my drs best guess. I also had a hernia repaired and my stomach was too high and pushing into my lung so that caused extra trauma and swelling. Good now. ;)

    What did the Doctor do to fix it (if you don't mind me asking)?

    There was nothing he could do, he said it would have to just heal. He did gi

    ve me liquid lidocaine to help numb my throat but it was little relief.
