Any Type I Diabetics Here?

I will be banded on July 26. I am a Type I diabetic. I am wondering if there are other Type I diabetics that have banded.

If so, what have you noticed as the major benefits? How much were you able to reduce you insulin? Did you have to decrease insulin use immediately?

I'm also hoping my neuropathy will go away. Just wanted to know what kind of things I can expect to improve.

That is amazing. I hope to be able to cut down that much. I am stoked about the prospect.
