Know it is not unusual for the port area to hurt after surgery but I wonder for how long to expect pain? Mine still hurts and I was vended 6/7/12.

I actually just experienced that pulling feeling when getting up from laying on my stomach. Thought it felt weird.

I was aware of my port for about 3 months after surgery....not everyday was painful, some days better than others. Somewhere in the 3-4 month range I didn't notice it at all.

mine doesnt hurt but i can feel (slight pulling) sensation when i stand up

after sitting for a spell (for example when i am at work) or getting up from the band tub.......guess it is still healing (and making the scar tissue around the band).
