Just Started Pre-Op Diet.

Hi! Just started my pre op diet today. My doctor told me to do four shakes a day for two weeks. I was just wondering if I was able to have any soup? Thanks!

    Every doc has different instructions. Some allow soup and some don't. Did your doc or nutritionist give you an info packet or written instructions?

    Check with your Dr....Mine allowed broth.

    Every doctor is different as stated above... I was allowed low sodium broth, sugar free Jello, sugar free Popsicles, coffee, tea, 0 calorie drinks, diet soda(didn't drink any), cottage cheese, fat free or lite soy milk, skim milk and 2 high protein/low carb shakes a day.
