still investigating

Hi to all,

I am just learning about lap band. My son's girlfriend had it and has had great success. I am seriously considering it and wanted to hear from people that has had it done. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on but i think talking to people with experience is the best information. I am looking into having it done in about 6 months.

Rhonda, keep on investingating..here and other places. Obestiyhelp.com is a good website also, with information on surgeons, in each state, plus other info. I had consults with (2) surgeons before choosing one. Find one that you want to see. If you end up with one you don't feel comfortable with, then you don't want to see him/her as much and aftercare suffers.

I am considering my banding a success (see below). I am still losing, albeit slowly. I am happy that I did it.
