What do you have against a nurse doing fills?

The one at my clinic has done at least twice as many as the surgeon.

My surgeon doesn't do fills EVER. Nurse Practitioner does all fills.

Lovelace Westside Bariatrics. Dr. Lilibeth Sanchez will do fills, but, she's only there at clinic on Wednesdays. All her fills are done under floro and for me they have always been painless and successful. If you make an appointment make sure you let them know that you want the fill done by Dr. Sanchez. The number there is (505) 727-2300. I feel the same way about PA's.

SouthWest endocrinology in Albuquerque also does fills, however, I don't know much about them.

Each time (at least 5 times) when I was filled or unfilled by a PA the insertion of the needle hurt like hell. I even thought that she was doing it on purpose at one time and left the appointment cursing her. Probably isolated, however, each time my doc has done it I don't even know when the needle is in.

I'm with you I don't want a PA to do my fills when I have my lap band done, I would prefer my doctor do it since he's the one putting in the lap band

You are correct, but as long as I have a choice, I'll continue making my appointments on Wednesday's.

My DR recommend always getting fills by Dr I have invested to much money to have a leak in band. And I have heard lots of people on here say they have pain a missed fills by Pa Thanks for the phone number and info!
