Scared

My surgeon explained to me that if I continue to have pain at my port site he wants 2 do an egd. That was 2 months ago. I still have pain, feels like I'm overly restricted & I have a burning sensation & pain in the upper abdomen.

I need this band - whether physical or psycho. I'm super nervous & hesitant about calling him.

Signed,

Scared Cee

I would be scared too... But don't put off calling. Maybe it's just a matter of getting some antibiotics. Or getting something slightly tweaked so you can be more comfortable!! Just because it feels all weird doesn't mean it's a big huge problem where they're going to remove it. Call asap so you can get this worry off your shoulders!!

I would not play around with this. If you've got an infection, then the faster you treat it, the better the outcome.

Good luck!

I will call. I'm just a ball of nerves.
