Question Regarding Stretching Pouch

Hello everyone! So I was recently banded 4/20/12 and did great with my pre-op diet and week one post op surgery. But this past weekend I ate bad and grazed quite a bit. So my question is can I "stretch my pouch" if I am not filled? The NP told me that I can but I have read otherwise on the web. Thanks for any responses.

I dont think grazing will stretch your band so much as eating large quantities of food over a longer period of time, not just a bad weekend !. You are dealing with no restriction at the moment so make sure u eat either 3 meals a day or 5 smaller meals and drink your water and eat your protein first. I would just try to maintain your weight till u start getting your fills done so u get used to making good choices food wise.

weight watchers tomato soup is a great filler and only 70 cals same as just skimmed milk drink so if u do need to graze a bit just make sure u graze on low cal food with protein if possible like milk, greek yoghurt etc all 0 fat :)
