i feel ya girl,im exhausted and i havent done anything, lol

It's normal to be tired after surgery. They have given you an anaesthetic, cut you open, moved bits around, inserted something that wasn't there before and then stitched you up again. On top of this because it was bariatric surgery you are on a restricted diet which also has an effect.

So remember to be kind to yourself. Rest and don't try to run any marathons yet!

LOL no worries on the marathon lol...and thanks for the laugh..i needed it. I know its normal..i just hate feeling this way...ive never been one to sleep alot..i feel like its such a waste to my day lol..today i fought sleep alllll day..even though i didnt do anything but watch tv and hang up some laundry that hubby did....but i can tell ya i will be in bed by 8 probably..im use to midnight bedtime lol

I was banded 4/20, started work last Weds and all I could do is go to work and then come home to bed. Yesterday was the first day I didn't fall asleep when I got home from work. It will come, take it easy.

i have a 4 year old and for 5 days after surgery my mom kept her but now shes home and omg at first it was overwhelming having her back,i cant keep up,im so tired i wana sleep but she dosnt, cant wait til more energy comes my way

The energy will come back. Your body just needs time to heal.Rest and take care of yourself. This is one time that it is perfectly okay to be completely selfish! In just a few days, your energy level will be back to normal and then some. Hang in there!

I'm two weeks post op today and my energy level is pretty normal. It probably was a few days ago. Advancing my diet from clears to mushys really helped me. And healing, giving it time did too I'm sure. Hang in there, you'll be feeling better soon
