Excessive Gas

I just had surgery Monday april 9, now I'm exactly one week post op. I have extreme gas. In my stomach and chest. Very uncomfortable. Also, I have burps that I feel our stuck.

How can I prevent this from continuing?

What can I do to release the gas?

Walking isn't helping neither is gas x.

Also, how long post op did the gas last for some of you?

Sorry that you are still in pain as far as the gas goes. I had mine done on the 12th and I am 4 days post op. My gas has subsided a lot but I take my gas x 2 of them three times a day and I walk tons I even get on the treadmill.

You can try beano or any over the counter liquid antacids I usually buy the one from CVS it's cherry flavor and that helps tons too. also the the liquid lortab that should have been prescribed to you helps a lot as well for pain. I hope that you find relief soon :)
