Just Told My Boss...

I know didn't have to but I feel such relief in case I keel over from the pre-op diet. I'm taking a week vacation so if for some reason I needed more time he may be more understanding. He was nice about it and surprised our insurance covers it. Who knows maybe he will look into it too and we can bond over it.

When I told my boss ( I work in a hospital and that's the hospital I got it done in) she asked me when was my surgery after I told her March 6th, she started laughing, then she told me she is getting it done on the same day! Sure enough we were both in room next to each other for the night! Pretty interesting and funny!!

I didn't tell my boss other than I am having a procedure done and need 2 days off. He always states that he doesn't need to know any of our medical info. So I followed his wishes and didn't go into detail.

I don't think there was anyone at my job that didn't know about it ha ha.
