San Antonio??

Anyone here have their lapband in San Antonio? I am from San Antonio and had my lapband here so I thought it would be kind of cool to stay in touch with some locals and see how we progress together.

Cool..So how long have you been in San Antonio? Where did you have your surgery done? I had mine at True Results.

My husband and I moved here last august. I had mine done through Texas bariatric. When did you get yours done? How's it going for you so far?

I had mine done 3/13/12 I am doing okay just sore and having trouble taking in the shakes I can't drink to much I get full really fast I don't know if the surgeron filled the band during surgery cause I can't take much in and I'm scared to over due myself and then have to vomit.

Just drink the shakes really slowly. It will get easier. The first week was the hardest. I slept a ton and just walked around the house because I didn't want to go too far. Now I'm at the gym 3-4 days a week. Still not working out hardcore but it's helping. Just make sure you get the protein in. My email is Morgan.2004@yahoo.com if you want to chat

I had mines done on 3/13/2012 I just drink things very slow.

Doing okay a lot better today so that's a good thing. I have to go back to work tommorow and plus I really need to get out of the house..lol

I won't be back till Friday and the only reason I have to go back it's because I have a presentation due but to be honest I finally found comfort in my home which before this experience I didn't have. I'm happy that your doing well and you will be back to work Monday let me know please how your turn out goes .

Lol yea that's the good thing if not I would be out for the full. 6 weeks my dr recommended but then again I would go crazy with out working so yea Friday it is lol
