Terrible Period Pain After Surgery

OMG I was banded 3-1-12 and just started my period last night ( my period has always been rude like that) and I am in so much pain! Is this normal? Is it because it's so soon after surgery?

Its probably a result of the surgery and stress etc, certainly the band would not affect your womb, it can be a miracle worker but it cant be blamed for all ailments !. You may find u are a little dehydrated and that will affect pain too :)

I had my surgery last year on 3/8 and within 5 days I had my period really bad! Horrible cramping and all that comes along with it. My surgeon said that it was relatively normal after surgery. I would call the doctor if you are concerned though because as you know everyone's experience is completely different! Good Luck to you!!
