Healthy Meals On A Buget

I have two children(3 and 15 months) who are somewhat picky eaters. I would like any ideas on healthy meals that combines all the food groups that's needed for balanced meals.

Thanks in advance :)

Sorry about the typo

The cheapest most nutritious food is beans! I eat them all the time and if you use the dry kind (have to soak overnite) they are practically free. I sautee and onion in some olive oil and add some spices and then dump that, the beans, and some veg broth in the crockpot and it is so easy and delicious!

Thanks for the replies. It would just be nice to be able to cook one meal that we all can enjoy :)

I just made tex mex black Beans with brown rice. Sauce: 1 can diced tomatoes, 1/2jar salsa, some spices and blend- then mix with cooked rice and heat. My baby and I ate it plain with crackers, hubby and 10 year old ate it with shredded cheese in whole wheat tortillas. It would be good on nachos, in taco shells or on a salad!
