I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday and I am even more excited to get this going. I rememeber walking out the door of the Doctors office thinking to myself this is really going to happen. A week from today I will be banded. To all of you that are getting it done today the best of luck to you on your journey....

Just a side note if any of you haven't yet check out on youtube there is lots of vlogs of different people's WLS journey. I have found lots of great information on there.

Wow - I think I can count myself lucky. My doctor's pre-op diet is note entirely liquid. It does require that you have plenty of protein. So two protein shakes a day and then a small lunch and dinner. Does anyone else have a non-liquid pre-op diet?

I get to have a lean protien & veggies or a weight watchers meal for supper. With protein shakes for breakfast and lunch along with a piece of fruit with the shakes. Not been bad at all here.
