Help And Support Needed

Hi everyone. I had my lapband surgery on July 26th and as of December 14th I was down 83 pounds. My goal for 6 months was to lose 100 pounds. I had to have some surgery on December 28th and have had to be home and off my feet for going on 6 weeks. I have not weighed myself but with Christmas and then my mom cooking here and cooking for a period of time I have a feeling I'm up a bit. My problem is getting back into the swing of things. Making healthy choices and getting back on track. I thought of starting a liquid diet to get things started again. I'm due for a fill on Wednesday. Anyway, I'm looking for a paticular Protein shot "Sunkist Protein". I don't want to buy them online because I want to be able to start on them tomorrow (Monday). Anyone out there know where I can pick a few of these up? Anyone have any suggestions on how I should go about getting back on board?

Thanks so much for any help you can provide

I am pre-op but I have started getting ready even though my surgery isn't until March 20th. My thought would be to go onto liquids for a week or so, or even go to 1 meal protein shake then 2 then hit a few days all liquids. Then slowly start foods again? Just a thought. It is hard to get re-motivated for anything but man o man you lost 87 pounds!! That is awesome!!!! I can't wait to be able to say that!!!

Come on bandsters, let's cheer this girl on....and believe me I was never thin enough to be a cheerleader!!

Keep us posted on how youu are doing!

I would agree with Pollyanna. I'm pre-band too, but I think just literally starting over would be a good idea. And congratulations on your success so far, that's great!

So far as the drinks go, I can't give you any advice except maybe check Amazon and see if they have them available with two-day shipping.

You can do this, I know you can!

My dietician recommended the Whey Isolate Protein powder. It is about $20 at Walmart. I mix it (vanilla) with frozen fruits and low cal juice (V8 fusion, diet cranberry, etc.). It makes a pretty decent shake and has about 30g protein per scoop.
