Pain Management - Mexico :)

So I am going to have quite a long flight back post -op, anyone have experience with the OCC and pain management? Did you get a prescription? What was the drug? Or did you just go to a pharmacy and buy something OTC??

I was not given pain medication after surgery. I took liquid tylenol when I needed it and it helped just fine, the most pain I had was from the gas and I used gas x strips for that. good luck

I am recovery right now and I cant imagine having to fly right now. I had a 10min drive home and I found that hard. I was prescribed OxyContin but they make me sick so I haven't touch them.

try liquid tylenol and deep breathing for relaxation, the first 24 hours is the worst.

Thanks so much I will try that! Is this banister hell?

I had my surgery at the OCC and if I remember correctly, they give you lots of stuff for pain and gas. I think most people have more problems with gas than pain, because the incisions are so small.

I meant bandster hell...boo auto correct!
