Getting A Cold Post Op

im about a week post op and im getting a cold i was wondering what cold meds are safe to take ... is theraflu tea or nightquil okay? any suggestions

    My doctor gave me the O.K. to take Tylenol products when I got sick about a week after I had my surgery. You should call your surgeon to double check if they didn't give you paperwork telling you what meds you can take and ones you should avoid.

    Most surgeon's say no NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or aspirin. Otherwise, I've not heard a problem with cold medicines. You can always give your surgeon a call to be sure.

    yeah i heard that too but idk which meds contain that =/ the drs office is closed right now i guess i can ask the pharmacist
