Just Banded

I received my band on 11/30. I had horrible back pain for the first 24 hours or so but that has subsided. Still have discomfort around the incisions but i was expecting that. Getting out of bed is tough because no matter which way i move it hurts the wounds. Im also having terrible dry mouth but i am guessing that is from the pain meds.

I have been sticking with gatorade, home made apple sauce and Protein shakes so far.

Im so glad i had the operation. 3 weeks before my surgery i was laid off and lost my health insurance. I was devestated! But i talked with the hospital and they signed me up for free care. The whole procedure cost me nothing!

Sorry about the job, me too, and it's still only going to get worse ! That's the sad part.

sleep in a Recliner with lots of Pillows, get out a Heating Pad or Hot Water Bottle this will help.

Keep up with your Fluid intake, and your doing fine.
