I'm new to the site and look forward to having lap band soon. My insurance won't pay but I can do the self pay thing then I will appeal my insurance. I'm not going to let insurance stop me from becoming health. So far, I have plans to have surgery in Houston at Hermann Memorial with Dr. Erick Wilson. Anyone have any info on the doctor please email me. I work at a hospital and another surgeron recommended this doctor or his group. I'm hoping to be in and out the same day. I had open heart surgery 10 years ago and was out in 4 days. I am scared but I feel I can't be this heavy and be healthy. Email me anytime....Beckyf36@aol.com
