  1. Herman Hospital have several nutritionist that see out patients.
  2. I seen Dr. Spivak 2-22-06 and I thought him and his staff was wonderful. Then the next day I visited with my primary care doctor and she told me that she would support me as long as I am willing to live with the side effects or complications of the band. She takes care of some people after having the band for years and they are having complications. So I decided to take the decision to wait and think this through. Was going to have banding on March 20 and decided to research a little more.
  3. I'm going to see Dr. Spivak tomorrow. I hope to schedule my surgery before the end of March 2006. If anyone has advice please let me know. Thanks
  4. I'm over the 300lbs. and look forward to the lap band
  5. I'm prebanded too.. I see the doctor tomorrow and hope to get banded by the end of March. Insurance won't pay so I will....I'm worth it Email me anytime to chat...Beckyf39@aol.com:help:
  6. Hi there, I'm new to the site and look forward to having lap band soon. My insurance won't pay but I can do the self pay thing then I will appeal my insurance. I'm not going to let insurance stop me from becoming health. So far, I have plans to have surgery in Houston at Hermann Memorial with Dr. Erick Wilson. Anyone have any info on the doctor please email me. I work at a hospital and another surgeron recommended this doctor or his group. I'm hoping to be in and out the same day. I had open heart surgery 10 years ago and was out in 4 days. I am scared but I feel I can't be this heavy and be healthy. Email me anytime....Beckyf36@aol.com Thanks Becky
