Scale isn't moving down (or up)

When do you know when enough is enough. I'm so restricted that I can't eat much of anything solid, but I'm not losing weight. Lost almost 50 lbs in 5 mos, but I still have 15-20 lbs to go. Should I get fluid removed???

To fill or not to fill? 1 member has voted

  1. 1. I feel, after 5 months post surgery, that I have been filled to the limit. I can't eat anything solid without getting sick. I'm due to go back to Dr. the day before Thanksgiving, and I am not gaining nor am I losing weight.

    • The only time I seem to lose weight is if I eat ice cream or something high calorie that stays down. It seems to be going against everything I know about weight loss. Help!!!

Yes, if you can only eat sliders, and ice cream, is a slider, you need to have an unfill! I have been there, do it for yourself, and good luck. Karen

Yes! It's normal for some foods to cause issues (bread, pasta, dry meat) but you should be able to keep solids down in general. You are loosing weight, but not in a healthy way. Unfortunatly, you are probably loosing some muscle, which obviously you don't want. I would get an unfill ASAP. Good luck.
