Getting in enough water.

I am having a hard time getting in all of my Water. I just don't think about it. I don't even get in half of what I am supposed too. I am going to start working on this and increasing my intake.

My weight loss has been sluggish. Do you think getting in enough water could help turn this around ? Maybe that would be inspiration enough. :)

Thanks, Terri.

Yes! I use to hate water and now I drink way beyond the required amount. I keep it with me all the time. It will become a habit and your body will crave it. good lucksmile.gif

I don't know what you feel is adequate weight loss, but most doctors say 11/2 to 2 lbs is enough.

Much more and you run the risk of muscle loss. Water won't help weight loss directly, but it does

help with bowel movements, and keeping hydrated helps all other bodily functions. Follow your

surgeon and nutritionist's instructions and watch your calories and you can't help but lose.

I keep a water bottle with me at all times. At first I had to force myself to drink enough water but now if I don't get enough my body tells me! I'm not sure if it helps with my weight loss but I find that I have more energy if I'm hydrated, so in turn I have the energy to work out and do what I need to do.

Thermos intak hydration Water bottle $10 at target helps keep track of how much you are drinking. I also add MIO to my water also at target by the crystal light. Good Luck

I know I don't get enough Water and I never have. xD I'm pretty honest about that. I don't like drinking water constantly. Water is great, but I don't like too much of the "taste." I would have to drink water when I wasn't really thirsty and I have a hard time doing that.

...And that's why powdered drink mixes were invented! I don't drink too much straight water at all. I make big pitchers of powdered drinks (low cal, of course) that I can pour in a bottle and take with me. :) It tastes like fruit punch, but is fantastic.

Also, Mio is great. You know, the stuff they squirt in the water bottles in the commercial? Tastes fantastic and lasts a good while!
