Hey Everyone! My surgery is scheduled for next Wednesday, 11/9. I'm very excited...and a bit nervous. So happy I found this site. I think I'll be spending a lot of time here biggrin.gif

Congrats and good luck on your surgery! I have found this site to be a wonderful place for information and support :)

Congrats. I was banded on 9-1-11. This is a great site. I live in a very small town with no support groups so this site is great to have. Hope all goes well for you!

Very cool Jenn...I'll be thinking of you...best of luck to you too!!

I fell like for me the more I went all over this site and the more I participated in it, the more i was "in the game" and focused on my band. Also I feel like a lot of the health professionals we are all interacting with dont really understand the band all that well, because they just dont actually have one!

Gotcha! Getting the band was not an easy decision...got lots of "are you sures" from friends and family that I've told....so this will be an awesome tool to keep me "in the game" as you say...thanks!
