coughing 3 days post op

Before I had my surgery I had a cough left over from a sinus infection... well since the surgery it has gone away...until tonight! I've been coughing A LOT! is this going to hurt my lapband? Will it cause it to slip or something? I'm kinda worried about it.

I don't think a slip would occur from coughing. I have really bad allergies and cough a lot, my Dr advised that I hold a pillow up against my stomach when I cough to support it, it helps me tons.Good

A cough should not cause your band to slip; I believe that a cough comes from the lungs and not the stomach. However, if you are worried give your doctor a call and see what he/she says. He/she might even call something in for you especially if you still have the sinus infection. Good luck!
