Too little or Just right

Okay I was banned on 7/20/11 I have not noticed any weight loss since 3 weeks after surgery. The moment I could eat again I did just that. So I had a period where I had to learn my band and what it can do for me if I work with it. With that being said I am somewhat close to my green zone I have been eating 800 to 1000 calories a day. I became a member of myfitnesspal and was advised I am eating too little. however it gave me an estimate of a 20 pound weightloss in 5 weeks. So I don't know if I am eating to little or should I stick to 800-1000 on top of working out 4 days a week. Please help bc the last thing I want is my body to go into starvation mode and I end up not losing anything or even gaining.

Four pounds a week sounds pretty good to me, in fact it might be a little much,

for an extended period. Don't beat yourself up for gaining before your fill, many

people do. It looks like you're on the right track, so keep it up.

MyFitnessPal guesstimates how much we'll lose if we keep eating a certain way, but I can for sure tell you that the loss they predict doesn't happen laugh.gif Follow what your doctor told you to do.

The dietician @ my focs office recomends me to eat 1300/day. I can't physically, or mentally, do that so right now we are aiming gor 800/day with a goal to get me up to @ least 1,000/day eventually.
