No Weight Loss at 5 months post-op
I must say I am too in the same boat with zero to miniumn weight loss. I am extremely encouraged by this post. You made me realize that I am not a failure and I really need to start paying attention to all that I am eatting and drinking bc I could very well be over eating and my body may need to be shocked by eating around 1000 cals just to start lossing. Thank you. I feel much better.

Haven't loss Anything!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 6.5cc in my band and it is 10cc band....The first fill was 4cc then 2cc and the last one was .5cc. The Nurse claims I have a lot of room to play around with but it seems like I am filling up fast and still not restriction. I do get full faster but I have never thrown up I have gotten stuck once on a waffle. I never tried that again.

Haven't loss Anything!!!!!!!!!!!
I never did stick to the liquids 2 weeks pre-opt I did however stick to it after surgery. The moment I started eating I gained again..Do u think I should go back to liquids to start losing again? Maybe I should do that....

Haven't loss Anything!!!!!!!!!!!
I have had 3 fills....I still can eat a good amount of food it is so scary bc even the 14 pounds I took off the first few weeks I have been losing and regaining it consistently. Its no different from prior to surgery. I am just beyond annoyed. I workout 4 times a week, my only bad habit is I drink on the weekends and I just can;t see how that could effect my weight loss.

Haven't loss Anything!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing has changed since I was banned on 7/20/2011. I have been the same size since my second week post surgery. I have no restriction and I am at a point of trying to realize what I have done to myself and why? I thought the band would help me lose weight I am beyond frustrated. I have given up seriously. Am I just meant to be fat forever/

Fill until you feel R-E-S-T-R-I-C-T-I-O-N
I had my band done on 7/20/11 and I have lost the same 10 pounds from after surgery. If you don't have restriction and you can still lose 63 pounds u have a heck of alot of willpower which is better than restriction. I am supper jealous.

Too little or Just right
Okay I was banned on 7/20/11 I have not noticed any weight loss since 3 weeks after surgery. The moment I could eat again I did just that. So I had a period where I had to learn my band and what it can do for me if I work with it. With that being said I am somewhat close to my green zone I have been eating 800 to 1000 calories a day. I became a member of myfitnesspal and was advised I am eating too little. however it gave me an estimate of a 20 pound weightloss in 5 weeks. So I don't know if I am eating to little or should I stick to 800-1000 on top of working out 4 days a week. Please help bc the last thing I want is my body to go into starvation mode and I end up not losing anything or even gaining.

Not Losing
I was banned on July 20th 2011. I have been in the same boat no weight loss I have been down the same 11 or 14 pounds since the first few weeks of surgery. I am on my third fill and starting to feel restriction. The best advice I can give is to start going to support group meetings. The band does not simply work on its own u have to work with it. Even if you don't have restriction you should try practicing putting the fork down when you feel satisfied. I know how difficult it is bc I am a true foodie. But if you want to see results you have to control it. I gave up Alcohol today I made a promise to stop drinking until New Years Eve..Pray 4 me this is going to be a huge challenge 4 me since I love wine.....But somethings gotta give and I want to be at my goal my next summer....

No Sushi? What foods have you had to give up after the Band?
I can eat almost anything however I tried a waffle for the first time and thought I was on my damn death bed....I won't ever try that again....And I got stuck on sushi before I am gathering it is more so the wrapping used and not the rice but I couldn't get it down...i think you will come to realize somethings just don't make any sense. I can eat steak but have trouble eating grits....It is all trial and error

Can Drinking stop Weight loss
I have been drinking I wanna say about a month after surgery. I am not seeing any weight loss and too scared to tell my doctor what I have been doing. I can still get down a bottle of wine over the weekend. This is a weekend thing and I am wondering if I need to go cold turkey and quit all together. I am gathering it may take a lil rehab though....LOL

I can't see it...
Dear Summthins, I had my band placed on July 20th 2011. I have always been a big girl gorgeous as ever just big. I can't picture myself in a size 12 let alone a single digit. Bc of this I have been struggling to get my head in the game. It has been almost 3 months and last I checked I was down 11 pounds. When we sabotage or thinking with negative thoughts we set ourselves up for failure. As of lately I have been attending group meetings bc there is nothing more inspirational than support. I have made this website my new facebook and made my support groups a priority not an option. If I sit back and dwell on my failures I will never see my future success. I am giving u an assignment. Since u can't see yourself thin take a picture new or old. Shave of all the areas on your body u dislike. It will be your blueprint of what u want to look like. Since u can't see it make an image it will give you and idea of what you will look like. I wish you success on this journey...

Zero weight Loss
I had my third fill on Tuesday and I am noticing a slight change. I can feel the fluids and shakes take time to go down. I am not hungry as of yet. I am just scared of the fact that I never was hungry I just like to eat everything in sight. I know in due time it will all work itself out. I am noticing changes however and I am starting to feel my band.

Zero weight Loss
Okay so once they go in and do that does that fill your band all the way...I have a 10cc band. I am afraid if I get to the fill point It will stretch eventually. AM I wrong about that?

Let me just be honest
Okay I was banned on 7/20/2011 I am pretty much the same size I was when I left the day of surgery. I have no restrictions I can still eat whatever I want or desire. I am slowly starting to understand my band after my 3rd fill. So this is were my problem starts everyone talks of restriction and you will know when u get there bc u will puke your brains out. Okay so are we promoting bulimia? Everyone I know who has had the band raves about this sweet spot and that is pretty much it or am I mistaken?
