Hi, I'm Shy

Hi There.

I have been a member of the forum for about a month, but have yet to post. I had my surgery on September 25th 2011, and am still recuperating. I am waiting to float away like a balloon from all this bloating and gas pain - at least that would make things a little more interesting!

Hello all,

I had my surgery on Sep. 16, 2011. So far i think i am doing good. Well not true...i am having dificult with my food choices and i dont seem to be loosing any pounds :( I have my first adjustment on Oct. 27 and i am affraid i am going to gain the 10 pounds i have lost so far...by the time of that 1st adjustment. Any ideas of what i can do??

just be gentle on yourself. You're tummy needs time to heal. walk, walk, walk! It helps with the gas, I promise! just follow your doctors orders and be patient. you can do it! And feel free to post, we've all been there! DOnt Be SHY ;)

The majority of people gain a few pounds before there first fill, its ok. You will be hungry just like before and be able to eat like before until you get a fill or two, dont sweat it, everything will be fine.

Congrats on your decision to have the surgery. I'm still waiting for my first appt. How have you done post op?
