Getting banded next week!

Hi, this is my first post and I just want to thank everyone whose posts I have read that have enabled me to be so informed with this difficult decision.

I have just gone 33 and live in old Blighty! Any other brits out there?

I have been for my appointment with the surgeon today and am booked in to be banded Sat 11th Feb.

As I have demonstrated in my log-in name I do believe Life is for Now and we shouldn't put off anything "until I lose weight" - I have done this for too long. I am ready to start my journey now.
