Well... Here I am it is finally happening! I have struggled with my weight my entire life so being able to get the lab band is amazing. Believe it or not, I actually won the Lap band surgery.... Yes I said won! There was a walk from obesity in my city and a local surgeon was giving away a free lap band surgery.... And I won!!!! The prize also covers the first year of appointments as well. I cried all day long and I still think it is all a dream! I feel so incredibly blessed because my insurance would not cover the surgery. I know that God opened this door for me and I am so excited for what is to come in my future. I am going for my consultation next week! Excited and nervous all at the same time!!!
