Pain when I burp

I recently had my surgery on August 5, 2011 and I'm noticing that I still have chest pain everytime I cough, burp or hiccup...is this normal?

Hey Tracies, I just wanted to share with you my experience, it may be the same or different, I was banded on 7/25/11 with plication with 3.5cc fill @ surgery, the last 2wks I have been having a heaviness in my chest and pressure in my throat (felt like somebody was choking me) went today for my 1 month postop, explained what was going on (this is when I found out that 3.5cc was put in @ sx) the PA said that I need to have some saline taken out (took out half) immediate relief, she said that my pouch was pissed off, lol, hope this helps
