3 day for a cure

HI there, I am walking in the Susan G koman 3 day for a cure walk in september. I am concerned about the nutrition part. I am really not going to worry about the weightloss part of this. I know there are going to be some food choices that are optimum for weightloss but are best for this kind of walk. i worry about the drinking an hour after eating.. need to drink lots on this walk. I worry about eating such small amounts and keeping the energy level i need to walk 20 miles a day. they provide Snacks throughout the day, mostly salty food like pretzels and chips, this is to keep us thirsty and drinking Water. I was thinking i would keep some protien bars in my pack. any other ideas or conerns i may need to consider? i am sure all will be fine, I just dont want to be the one who didnt finish!

Hi Denice,

I am also walking in a 3-day walk in September. I am doing the Philly walk. Which one are you in.

I have some of the same concerns, mostly about getting enough Water in.

I was also thinking of bringing my own Protein Snacks.

Nice to meet another 3 dayer, Terri
