Hi just wondering if anyone has experienced an eroded band. If you did, what happened?

I'm actually getting an upper endoscopy in a couple of weeks to check and see what's going on with mine. How did you/your doctor discover yours was eroded? How long have you had your band?

Yea me too. I have a pretty good pain tolerance but ended up taking myself to the ER the other day (which I haven't been to one in over 10 years.) I was given blood work, xray and CT which all showed nothing but I still feel crappy. Went to gastro yesterday who **** talked the band a little, had no suggestions and is sending me for an endoscopy in 2 weeks.

Can anyone share their eroded band experience? I'm wondering how my symptoms line up.

I had an endoscopy done and it was found. I had been through intense pain for 8 weeks. It did not show up on a CT a month earlier.
