Impressed with pre-op weight loss

Wow! Tomorrow will be day 7 of being on the pre-op diet and I have already lost 6 pounds! It makes me wonder if I could lose all my weight doing this, but probably not. If I had that kind of will power I wouldn't be fat in the first place lol. I have had to make some adjustments to my pre-op diet though. My body was being stubborn about going #2 with so much Protein and so little Fiber even though I drink more than 64oz of Water a day. I know most people don't have that problem, in fact most have the opposit happen to them, but my body is stupid so I had to start adding more apples and broccoli and that has done the trick for me. Hope that helps anyone else who may have the same problem.

Gettng really excited about surgery. 11 more days and I can hardly wait.

I decided to check out all the banana emoticons to see what is available and some of them were dirty bananas! lol Removed them before I posted this, but they did give me a good laugh.

I'm the same way as you when it comes to the #2 issue... I was/am eating tons of veggies and it still wasn't doing the trick... So milk of magnesia has become my best friend haha. But that stuff gives you the exact opposite problem which isn't enjoyable either... Soooo I took a day off the high protien and added some rice and a little whole wear pasta and that did the trick. Now I'm back to no carbs and I'm pretty regular. Anyway! Now that you know my BM schedule for the past week... Haha...
