First Fill

My surgeon informed me after my surgery that he left my band empty because it was a snug fit. This is my question: My next appointment will be 6 weeks post op. Do you think he will be more aggressive with the first fill, or is this an unanswerable question?????;)

I think most surgeons put in empty bands, and don't add any fluid until the first fill. My first one was 4ccs- I can't guess how much yours will be :)

@ Rachel, I go in on Tuesday for my first fill, I also have the realize band. My doctor is pretty conservative with fills and mentioned he,would put in either 4 or 5 cc's. My question is do u feel the difference after first fill and what is the differences?
