What do you take for heartburn? I got malox antacid and gas relief. Wondering if okay to take.

Sure, but make sure you tell your doc at next appt. Chronic heartburn can cause complications with the band.

I see him in two days. I hope it does not cause complications. I'd hate to have issues in my first week. Maybe it's not heartburn. I've never had it before.

Talked to Dr and he is not concerned. He said maybe it's caused by drinking to much at once. So I'm back to my 1oz med cup. Also getting prescription for it tomorrow. Whew!
