Pain with first fill?

Hey there everyone! I had my surgery on May 25th. I am having my first fill on July 5th. I wanted to know what the actual process feels like pain wise? Thanks guys!

Congratulations Jessie. I have had two fills (banded 13 April) and both have been a very minor needle prick. Surgeon said it could be worse if he had to poke around for my port but so far so good - third fill on Friday morning.

I have only had one fill, 5 days ago. Dr had to poke around (3 times) to get the right angle. I thought it was very uncomfortable but didn't make me cry. I am kind of a wimp but I survived. I was told that the rest of my fills will be better because there will not be any inflammation. If a wimp can do it, you can, too!! Good luck and congrats!

I had first fill yesterday, was my 6mo appt. No pain, tiny needle that I almost could not feel. No problem accessing my port at all. Today I have a cramp like pain at my band, but not real uncomfortable. Hopefully that is just my stomach complaining.

Thank you all very much!

I have had two fills. The second being yesterday. I was a little sore but they inject numbing medicine before injecting the other needle. I think I was sore from moving around and picking up my 2 year old...he is about 30lbs and pure muscle...LOL. Don't worry, it is no big deal!
