when does the port pain go?

im day 17 and still having quite a bit of port pain...i wouldnt say its constant, but it hurts with movement and it just feels so uncomfortable...will this ease up? it seems to hurt all across my ribs sometimes too.

This is probably your biggest incision and the port is finding it's home among your other organs. It takes awhile to heal, I think mine felt uncomfortable for about 10 weeks or so. It will get better.

It takes a while. I'm about 2.5 months out from surgery and mine still hurts if I bend or twist the wrong way. You'll start protecting it as you stand up, bend over, etc. and it'll feel better.
