SOUPS?

Hi!

By day 4 post-op I can move on to soups (along with my shakes) and they need to be low sodium.

Any suggestions that you like or that where easy to get down?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Check the health food section of your grocer as well. I found some soups in low soduim in Frys (Kroger) and they had all kinds. Pureed like squash, sweet potatoe, and baked potatoe all kinds. I'm going to try the sweet potatoe one this evening.

butternut squash is the only oen that i tried- it is delish! Good luck!

I liked tomato and butternut squash :) also cream of chicken, and sounds weird but the campbells nacho cheese soup is good haha

Pacific brand tomato with sweet red pepper is very good (sometimes in the organic section). Also adding non salt Mrs Dash flavorings before heating ads a lot of flavor.
