3 days post op

I still am in a lot of discomfort. Up on top where the incision is for when they lift the liver and also the port incision feels like it is burning. How long does this last? Also got a weird rash all over my belly I just noticed. Looks like little red pin pricks all over.

Hi Melissa I'm 4 days post op today. N I am still note 100% I didn't have so much discomfort at the incisions but I am suffering with the gas and tightness. I don't know if it's the band that is tightening or what. I have tried all the gas remedies and still at night I'm suffering. I just want to get a good night sleep. Each day does get better I just hope this back pain and tightness will go away. I have decided to get out the house today treat myself to a manni & pedi maybe hit the mall. Maybe this will also help. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention I'm hungry and I want something to eat. Still on liquids I'm terrified to mess up my pouch or have a stuck episode. So liquids it is at least til Tuesday. Good luck on ur banded journey.

I'm three days post-op, and I have pretty much no pain today. What has worked for me has been to just walk walk walk walk a lot, even though it was painful, it helped the gas move out. I also used a heating pad.

As for the rash, do you have tegaderm dressings on your incisions? (The clear plastic). You might be allergic to the adhesive on the dressing, of course I'm not a medical doctor or anything, but that's a guess.

My incisions don't burn, but they are a little tender.

Hope I was able to help somewhat, I really hope you feel better.
