A little bit discouraged.....

So, I'm a little bit discouraged. This Wednesday, the scale that I use, said 156 (lowest weight in like 16 years) and since then, it's crept back up to 160.8 today. I've not done anything different. Maybe this is Water weight? I'm changing up my exercise routine, so maybe part of this is muscle weight. Who can say for sure. Overall I've done well, since the surgery; I just know that right now, I needed a little pick-me-up from the LapBand community.

I'm about 45-50 lbs from my goal and I'm definitely sticking with this. Why would I want to just throw away what I've done so far? Besides, it's so nice knowing that so many people (women and men) at my office have noticed.

P.S. I need a hug..

Big Hug.

Don't worry about it. Weight fluctuates from day to day especially when you are female. Could be Water, hormones , anything.

Just keep up the good work and don't get discouraged.

Seeing a gain when you are doing everything right is frustrating. Try to focus on how far you've come. That is a huge accomplishment! Please don't get discouraged. You are so close!

I have found that success comes from being consistent. It sounds like you've been doing everything right. You WILL see results. Try not to get discouraged.

I don't have any words of wisdom based on experience so here is a BIG HUG. You have come so far already. Keep on keeping on and you will reach your goal before you know it. I admire all your progress thus far.

I'll echo the others-- you're doing the right things, consistently-- your body will eventually get with the program. Just don't give up!
