You should be fine eating creamy Soups. I had my surgery on the 11th, and have had soups that last few days. I even ate a small chili from Wendys the other day doh! Just eat slow.

Those work perfectly. You may want to Water it down and add some spices/herbs to it.

Post op I put all sorts of soups in my Magic Bullet and purred them. If they were creamy I just added some water. They were actually really good like that and more filling than just broth.

if you're worried about the chunks in the cream soups just strain them out... I really enjoyed strained cream of potato and cream of broccoli after surgery... I could sip on about half of a coffee mug full.
