Band too tight in the Mornings?

I am not sure where this post went but it was originally posted at 7:21 am this morning and now it is gone from the forum wall.

I am concerned as it has been almost 2 yrs and I have never had any issues with my band but then of course I have never in the 2 yrs been this snug.. I do experience burping that produces phlegm and in the middle of the night I get some of the taste of what I had to eat last. This is crazy I get to my sweet spot and now I think I might actually be way to tight. Please read on and any input would be great. Thanks so much. original post below there has been verbiage added to the post.

My band hurts in the morning when I first get up and try to drink my coffee. I had it tightened a couple weeks back and it still seems to be very very tight. As the days go on I can eat, drink but wow it is snug. More so then it has been in the two years I have had it actually. I am self pay and the cost of each visit it expensive and being unemployed is rough so I just left it tighter and hoped it would loosen up in time. I guess two weeks is not long enough, it kind of feels like I have a hair ball in my throat. ..lol Have any of you ever had this issue? The band is really working because when I try to over eat it will back up, and ohhhhh my gosh I have had things stuck and how painful is that? And any liquid with bubbles totally forget that!

You really should go get a little taken out but I understand the financial issue. Mine is always tighter in the morning and loosens throughout the day. I never eat anything the first couple hours that I'm up. I just sip on coffee. That helps. I know that hair ball feeling all too well. Try going on liquids for 2-3 days and see if that helps.

When I was tighter than I am now (I have lost all my weight and choose to keep the band pretty loose) I had a protien shake for breakfast. The band loosened up enough by lunch time to eat. However, since you seem to be experiencing discomfort all day, I would go in for a slight unfill. Just a little removed can make a world of difference. I am self pay as well, and I know it's expensive. I let that stop me in the past and suffered longer than I should have. I always sucked up the drive and the expense eventually. Hope you feel better soon!
