Pre-op Liquid Diet

Today is day 3 of my liquid diet I woke up with a weird pain in my stomach this morning. It wasnt a hunger pay as much as I felt sick. I was a little over it and was just thinking about eating regular food but cutting way back. I had to go into my Drs office to pick up some paper work and I decided to get on the scale,I lost a couple lbs. That was a bit of a boost another pat on the bac to make be think I can do it. I just need some more ideas of what to do aat dinner time. I am over chicken broth. Any ideas or words of encouragment would help.

Hey Ebony Dawn!

Hello!

I am a week away from banding in the pre op diet...they make us do two weeks

I have found the whey Protien from Walmart - Cookies and creme type - mixed with 16 oz of skim milk and 5 icecubes in a blender really do the trick for me at traditional Breakfast and dinner time...then the other - Glucerna shake, Boost glucose controlled and Isopure form GNC 1/2 bottle mixed with waterstuff fills in at the other two times a day I eat.

It does seem like a real process at realizing that our lives are changing a whole bunch. For the better and we just have two months of hell to get thru..I workin it a day at a time...keep talkin!
