Spending majority of my life extremely overweight I can't even imagine what it would be like to be smaller, to feel better, to have my life....well I can't say back since I've been dealing with obesity my enter life so I will get "MY LIFE". Well I'm thrilled and can't wait to be on my way!!! I look forward to getting to know people on this forum and helping get the support I will need for success.

Congrats Sarah! Can't wait to hear your results. I'm getting my lapband on the 25th! I'm currently doing the liquid pre-op diet.

Hi Sarah, I am a "newbee) also. Much older then you. I am 61 and have been miserable for about 10 years now. I finally have the money for this surgery and am going for it. I am sooo excited. I will probably be having my surgery in about a month. It will be up to the surgeon. I see him next week. I have already seen the therapist and he said he thinks I am making a good decision. I am so psyched. Never to old to feel good. Good luck to u..donna
