Port Pain?

Hey Everyone

Its been 19 days since I was banded. Wanted to know - how long did the port discomfort last? Its not painful - its just an odd feeling and at times uncomfortable - is this something that goes away with time?

I know my body is healing - but is that the last to heal properly? I feel like its about to pop out ..

Thanks for the responses in advance.

My band & port is high just under my bra line. Mine was ache but no problem. I couldn't wear a bra for 6 wks after surgery. My underwire bra can irritate it still. Check with your nurse or doctor. If I can be of any help let me know. Good luck.

Cheers,

Kristi

I am 7 months out and every so often I have pain in the port area. Because my port is high near my rib cage I can't wear underwire bras. Playtex Secrets have some good wireless bra, they really support and lift you.
