We have the same surgery date!! (Ok I don't know why that's so exciting but it is ) What kind of pre-op diet will you have to do?

June 9th! I have my pre-op tomorrow and will know when I start my liquid diet I have heard of people having NO pre-op liquid diet and others with a month! Crazy! I am curious to see where I fall

I am so excited! My date is June 22. My husband is having his procedure tomorrow, May 19th. We have to do the liquid diet 3 days prior to surgery. So far he isn't too crabby! We are looking forward to a more active healthy lifestyle. Keeping our eye on the prize, so to speak helps! Good luck to you kristi!

I am having my done on June 20th as well. I just received my date this morning. Tonya in Murfreesboro TN

I have completed everything they(the doctor's office) has asked me to do. It's been more than 2 weeks and I am still waiting to get a surgery date.

June 2nd for me, alitle nervous about preop diet of 2 weeks, can I have caffeine?

I just ate my last real food...26 day preop starts tomorrow!!!!!! Wow... I cant believe it!

it IS exciting to have the same date!!!!!!!!!

My patient rep said 2 weeks and lose 10 pounds....not looking forward to it though!!!! 2 weeks of 2 Protein shakes per day plus a low fat, high protein meal....does NOT sound fun!!!

I've started drinking 5 Protein Shakes per week just to get me used to the taste and to help me find which ones I like, and so far it really hasn't been too bad.

I am hopeful that if I do well with the band, that my husband will want to get one too....we've both put on way too much weight!!! I want us to be healthy and live a long time, long enough to annoy our kids!!!!

Who's your doctor in Houston??

I'm going through True Results and my doctor is Dr. Reilly. He seems nice. I'm just ready to get this done!!! Keep me posted!

I have my last appointment with my doctor in Houston on Wed and will get my date for the band.

I am down for the 16th of June. My B-day is the 4th, I start the pre-op diet on the 2nd. I am not sure what I should feel; happy that I am almost there or sad that I will have to drink my birthday cake.........It's always a good day for change.
